The first thing to understand is how to create a new line of products that connect with your consumers while standing out in the cosmetic industry. 2. FIND YOUR AUDIENCE
Knowing who your consumer is playing a huge role in what you will choose for your formula and your marketing strategy. For example, if your audience is a health/ingredient-conscious group, it would be wise to research all-natural/organic and quality ingredients and then to market that message. 3. STUDY CURRENT TRENDS
Having knowledge of what is currently doing well in the market will help you develop a product that can compete. Find out what people are looking for and what they want. It could help you realize that there might be a product that isn’t currently on the market that your target consumers need.
4. CREATE AN AMAZING PRODUCT
Though it’s good to do as much research as possible yourself, it’s still best to leave the formulation up to an expert, especially if you’re wanting a custom formula. Someone who can create a great product that smells, feels, looks, and works the way you want it to.
5. DESIGN
